Free AI Image Generator — built for everyone, not just designers
You don’t need to know what a prompt is to make a great image any more. Just say what you want, tap how you want it to look, and you’ll have a download-ready visual in about half a minute — for YouTube thumbnails, Instagram posts and stories, Facebook covers, Twitter posts, or website banners. No signup, no credit card, no daily limit, no watermark.
What you can create
- YouTube thumbnails (16:9) — bold, scroll-stopping compositions with breathing room for a title overlay.
- Instagram posts (1:1) — perfectly square, optimised for feed scrolling and grid aesthetics.
- Instagram stories & Reels (9:16) — vertical, mobile-first compositions that double up beautifully for TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
- Facebook covers (16:9) — wide page banners with cinematic framing.
- Twitter / X posts (16:9) — punchy timeline images that read well at small sizes.
- Blog hero / website banners (16:9) — editorial, clean, ready for headline text on top.
How to create an image in three taps
- Say what you want in plain English. "A happy dog on a beach" works perfectly — or pick one of the quick-subject chips.
- Pick where it’ll be used. YouTube thumbnail, Instagram post, story, Facebook cover, Twitter post, or blog hero. We set the right shape automatically.
- Tap how it should look. Choose a style, a mood, a colour palette, a lighting feel, and where to leave room for a title. Hit Create my image.
What if I don’t know what to pick?
That’s exactly why we built the ready-made looks on this page — one tap fills in every option for you, including the subject. Just pick the look closest to what you want and hit Create my image. If you want to tweak something, change one chip and try again.
Tips for great results
- Be a bit specific about the subject. "A person" works; "a young woman smiling, wearing a yellow jacket" works better.
- Mood matters more than you think. Pick "Dramatic" if you want intense and cinematic; pick "Playful" for fun, light visuals.
- Match lighting to the vibe. "Golden hour" gives that warm sunset glow, "Studio soft" looks clean and commercial, "Neon" gives a futuristic cyber feel.
- Leave room for your title. If you’ll add big text later, pick which side of the image should stay clean — the AI will compose around it.
Frequently asked questions
Is the AI image generator really free?
Yes — completely free for visitors. No signup, no credit card, no daily cap, and no watermark on the image. We absorb the API cost so you can create as many thumbnails, banners and posts as you like.
Can I use the images commercially?
Yes. You own and can use the output for YouTube videos, social posts, your website, client projects, ads, newsletters — anywhere you like. Just double-check the image doesn’t accidentally render a real logo or trademarked character before publishing.
Do I have to write a "prompt"?
No. That’s the whole point of this tool. Just describe the subject in normal words — "a dog on a beach", "a cup of coffee on a desk", "a sunset over mountains" — and tap the options to set the look. We translate your choices into a high-quality AI prompt behind the scenes.
Why is there no text in my generated thumbnail?
On purpose. AI-generated text inside an image is often misspelled or off-brand, so we ask the model to leave a clean composition with room for you to add your own title in Canva, Photoshop or any free editor. That way the title is always sharp and exactly what you wrote.
Are my inputs stored anywhere?
No. Your subject and chosen options are passed to the AI provider only to generate the image — we don’t store your inputs, the generated images, or any personal data on our servers.
What if I get an error?
Usually one of three things: the subject was empty, the AI service was momentarily overloaded, or the daily free quota is exhausted. Try again in a minute; if it keeps failing, contact us and we’ll top it up.
