1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Beusoft Technologies ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses information when you visit our website, read our blog or submit a form.
You can reach us at contact@beusofttechnologies.com · Gohar Center Wahdat Rd, Muslim Town, Lahore, 54000.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
When you fill in our contact form, request a quote or book a meeting, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number (if provided)
- The message or project details you submit
- The company name (if provided)
2.2 Information collected automatically (blog & site analytics)
When you read a blog post on Beusoft Technologies, we automatically log limited technical information so we can understand which content is useful and keep the site secure:
| What we log | Why |
|---|---|
| IP address | To estimate your country/city, prevent abuse and de-duplicate views. |
| Anonymous visitor ID (in a cookie) | To count unique readers without identifying you personally. Stored for 1 year. |
| Browser session ID | To group page loads within a single browsing session. |
| Browser type, operating system, language | To improve site compatibility and analytics. |
| Referring URL | To see which sites send us traffic. |
| Country, region, city | Approximate location derived from your IP. Not precise GPS data. |
| Time of visit and post you opened | To produce aggregate traffic reports. |
We do not collect your name, email or phone number through this analytics tracking — only the technical signals listed above.
3. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to make the site work and to count visitors:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
bsv_visitor_id |
Anonymous identifier so the same visitor isn't counted twice when they re-open a post. | 1 year |
PHPSESSID |
Standard server-side session cookie used by the website framework. | Session (cleared when you close the browser) |
You can clear or block these cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not break the site — at most you'll be counted as a fresh visitor on each return.
4. Third-party services we use
To run the site we share some technical data with these providers:
- ip-api.com — receives your IP address (only) so it can return the country/region/city it estimates you're in. We do not send any other personal data. See their privacy terms.
- Google Fonts & jsDelivr / cdnjs — these CDNs serve fonts, stylesheets and icons used by the site. Your browser connects to them directly to load static assets.
- flagcdn.com — serves country flag images shown on internal analytics dashboards.
- Google Analytics — if you do not opt out, Google receives anonymised usage statistics from your visit. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
5. How we use your information
- To respond to your contact-form messages and quote requests.
- To send service-related emails connected to a project you started with us.
- To measure traffic and improve the blog and website.
- To detect abuse, spam and security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.
6. How long we keep your data
- Contact-form submissions: until the inquiry is resolved, then archived for up to 3 years for reference.
- Blog view logs (IP, cookie, geo): kept for analytics purposes; we may retain aggregate data indefinitely.
- Client project data: for the duration of the engagement and any legal retention period after that.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR), you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to processing, or ask us to restrict processing.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time where we relied on consent.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS, hashed admin credentials, restricted database access) to protect the data we collect. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Our website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the website or by direct notice where appropriate.
